
Examples of when consent for work is needed:
- Renovations and alterations to the structure or layout of the property. This can include changing the plumbing or electrical work.
- Change of use – for example if a tenant wants to change the type of business that is being conducted, they would need consent from the landlord.

Assigning a lease – If a tenant wants to assign their lease to someone else, they would need permission from the landlord.
