Akshya is a solicitor with over 24 years experience. He deals with property litigation with particular experience in commercial landlord and tenant matters – acting for landlords and tenants in both contentious and non- contentious matters. He deals with business lease renewals- S25 and S26 Notices under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 including court proceedings. He deals with commercial work relating to grant of new leases, surrender of leases, assignment of leases, forfeiture of leases- including court proceedings, licence to assign, licence to alter, right of way disputes and adverse possession claims.
He also deals with lease extension matters under the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 dealing with S42 and S45 Notices under the said Act and proceedings at First Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber)
He also has experience of residential and commercial conveyancing.
